Open to all Alumni, Adult, Leader, Parent or
Guardians of 2026 registered livestock exhibitors.
THURSDAY, September 10th @ 5 PM  
1. Animals used in the contest must be entered and
exhibited in the 2026 fair.
2. Entries at livestock office by 3PM on 9/10/26.
Signatures required.
3. Exhibitors can show in more than (1) class.
4. Master Showman Award will be presented.
$5.00 entry fee per class.

19 years and Up as of December 31st of the 
prior year!
CLASS 1     Beef
CLASS 2     Swine 
CLASS 3     Sheep
CLASS 4     Goat
RULES FOR SMALL ANIMAL 
MASTER 
SHOWMANSHIP
1. An exhibitor may enter showmanship in multiple
species but can only participate in the following
Small Animal Master Showmanship Contests. 4-H
Intermediate, FFA Intermediate,
4-H Advanced or FFA Advanced.
2. Top showman in each Intermediate or Advanced
contest of Chicken, Turkey, Rabbit, Pygmy Goat,
Cavy and Dog Showmanship will qualify for
Intermediate or Advanced Small Animal Master
Showmanship.
3. Exhibitors competing in multiple species or
organizations will represent the first species that
they qualify in.  An exhibitor who qualifies is an
Intermediate FFA contest and an Advanced 4-H
contest must notify the livestock office which
organization/level they will be representing.
The only exception to this rule in an exhibitor
that has previously won Small Animal Master 
Showmanship.
4. A previous winner of Intermediate or Advance
Small Animal Master Showmanship at the Madera
District Fair may compete again, at the same level,
by qualifying in a different species.
RULES FOR LARGE ANIMAL 
MASTER 
SHOWMANSHIP
1. An exhibitor may enter showmanship in multiple
species but can only participate in the following
Large Animal Master Showmanship
Contests. 4-H Intermediate, FFA Intermediate.4-H
Advanced or FFA Advanced.
2. Top showman in each Intermediate or Advanced
contest of Beef Cattle, Swine, Sheep, Dairy Goat,
Meat Goat and Horse Showmanship will qualify for
Intermediate or Advanced  Large Animal Master
Showmanship.
3. Exhibitors competing in multiple species or
organizations will represent the first species that 
they qualify in.  The only exception to this rule in 
an exhibitor that has previously won Large Animal 
Master Showmanship.
4. A previous winner of Intermediate or Advance
Large Animal Master Showmanship at the Madera
District Fair may compete again, at this level, by
qualifying in a different species.
5. Master Horse Showmanship will be a knowledge
test.
OUTSTANDING
EXHIBITOR
1. NO ENTRY required, open to all 2026 registered
livestock exhibitors.
2. Points will be awarded for participation and
placings in competitions.

Livestock Office.
