PEE WEE SHOWMANSHIP Open to youth 8 years of age and under as of December 31st of the prior year and not participating under the 4-H Programs. Friday, September 11th @ 12 noon 1. The exhibitor must be able to control and show the animal at all times. 2. Entries shall be made on livestock entry forms provided by the Fair. Pre-Enter before Friday, Sept. 11th at 11 AM. The signature of a parent or guardian is required. 3. All State & Local Rules apply to these entries. 4. All sheep and goat entries in this division must have an official USDA scrapie tag in the ear. 5. Classes may be broken by species. 6. Best dressed classes is open to all. DIVISION 456 - PEE WEE SHOWMANSHIP UNDER 5 years Exhibitor under 5 years old as of December 31st of the prior year; Animal shown must be under 50 pounds. CLASS 1 Goat CLASS 2 Best Dressed Exhibitor with Goat DIVISION 391- PEE WEE SHOWMANSHIP 5-8 years old Exhibitor 5 to 8 years old as of December 31st of the prior year; Animal shown must be under 150 pounds. CLASS 1 Sheep CLASS 2 Goat CLASS 3 Best Dressed Exhibitor (with sheep OR goat) LAD & LASSIE LEAD 1. Each entrant shall provide their own sheep or make arrangements to borrow one. 2. Entry is open to all members of 4-H and FFA. Independents must be registered as such with this fair. 3. Entries will be judged on the mode of dress selected, which must be appropriate, attractive and lend elegance to the class. 4. Entrants must furnish their own outfit which must be made of either 100% WOOL or a minimum of 70% WOOL and no more than 30% SYNTHETIC FIBER. 5. Entrants must also provide their commentary sheet based on the qualifying event. The commentary must be typed and written in “THIRD PERSON” and must be submitted by noon on the day of the show. 6. Sheep must be conditioned, fitted and trained to show at halter. 7. All grooming preparation for the show must be done by entrant. 9. Outfits do not have to be made by entrant. 10. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st - 4th Place. 11. Outfits must be new to this fair. 12. Age is as of December 31st of the prior year.
