MARKET POULTRY RULES: 
1.
All birds must be part of a supervised poultry
project for a minimum of sixty (60) days and each
individual owned by the exhibitor for a minimum of
thirty (30) days.
2. A copy of the hatchery receipt or delivery
invoice to be sent w/entries.  Drug Forms will be
provided and due at weigh-in.  Entries without this
information will be refused.
3. The 4-H/FFA Grand Champion and Reserve Grand
Champion market pen of chickens, market pen of
ducks, and market turkey must sell at the Junior
Livestock/Small Animal Auction.
4. Market entries are limited to members of
Madera County 4-H Clubs or FFA Chapters.
Independent exhibitors must reside in Madera Co.
to enter market poultry.
DIVISION 400 - 4-H PEN OF 2 MARKET 
CHICKENS
CLASS 1    Pen of two market Chickens of the same 
breed. Chickens not over 10 weeks; 
Lightweights - 4 1/2 to 6 lbs., each bird. 
Heavyweights - over 6 lbs., each bird.  Chickens over 
8 lbs. will be disqualified.
DIVISION 401- FFA PEN OF 2 MARKET 
CHICKENS
CLASS 1    Pen of two market Chickens of the same 
breed. Chickens not over 10 weeks; 
Lightweights - 4 1/2 to 6 lbs., each bird. 
Heavyweights - over 6 lbs., each bird.  Chickens over 
8 lbs. will be disqualified.
DIVISION 402- 4H PEN OF 2 MARKET DUCKS
CLASS 1     Pen of two market Ducks of the same    
breed. Ducks not over 6 weeks.  Ducks  over 12 
pounds will be disqualified. 
DIVISION 403- FFA PEN OF 2 MARKET 
DUCKS
CLASS 1     Pen of two market Ducks of the same 
breed. Ducks not over 6 weeks.  Ducks over 12 
pounds will be disqualified. 
DIVISION 404- 4-H MARKET TURKEY
CLASS 1     One Market Turkey over 14 lbs with a 
maximum weight of 30lbs.  
DIVISION 405- FFA MARKET TURKEY
CLASS 1     One Market Turkey over 14 lbs with a 
maximum weight of 30lbs.
