Here is you chance to recreate the best race with 
the coolest cars ever.  This creative contest puts 
imagination in the driver’s seat. Get ready to shift 
into high gear and let the best barrel win!
To reserve your Garden Spot or Barrels please 
submit online or come into the office upon entry 
opening.
1. Barrels provided by Madera Fair, 24” diameter x
8” deep.
2. Maximum entries six (6).  First come, first served.
3. Limited to (1) one entry per exhibitor.
4. No one over 12 years old.

"PLANT A SHOE" 
Step 1:    Find a shoe or boot!  
Step 2:    Plant your favorite cactus, succulents 
works best! 
Step 3:    Bring it to the Fair! 
Match the colors, textures and styles of your shoe 
to plants that you use to come up with a unique, 
planted shoe.  *Make sure you plant your shoe with 
dirt and use live plants.

DANISH SYSTEM OF JUDGING
1. Classroom projects are for TEACHERS ONLY
entering for each student in their classroom. either
as individuals. Each student will receive a ribbon for
his/her accomplishment.
2. DIV. 225 MUST have student’s full name,
school, grade and teacher’s name on a floral pick.
EXHIBITS MAY NOT BE RECEIVED IF THIS STEP IS
NOT COMPLETED. THIS IS THE ONLY IDENTIFYING
ELEMENT on students work.
3. Include a legible classroom list with each
student’s name recorded as it appears on the
FRONT of their floral pick.  If you choose to
photocopy your roll sheet, please clearly note any
name changes so that the names will match the
names on each students entry.
4. All work must have been done by Madera
County students within the last 12 months.
5. Maximum 2 entries per student may be entered
in Div. 225.

“ALL AMERICAN PARTY” projects with us!  You are 
welcome to incorporate this idea OR enter any 
wonderful projects your students create!  ALL 
classroom projects are welcome.
