Impel Rods, which are harmless boron rods the diameter
of a pencil. Inserted in the old wood frame at strategic
places will protect the wood from rot, mold, mildew and
insects.
When they come in contect with water or moisture they
release the boron which is a natural wood preservative.
Boron rods are widely used in log homes and are very
effective for wood window frames that come in contact
with moisture.
Just drill a hole, insert the rod, and install the window.
