We have selections from Medium Grade 80 grit to Extra Fine 400 grit – the higher the grit number, the finer the abrasive. This Haas Bench Grinder has a 1/2" arbor and can hold up to 6" grinding wheels. It has 1 hp and a speed of 3450 rpm, perfect for shaping, smoothing, and sharpening materials through removing excess material. Sharpening/lapping stones are crucial for stoning surfaces that demand exceptional flatness, effectively removing burrs, high spots, and imperfections. This process enhances the quality of machined parts. Sharpening stones can be used to maintain tools, molds and dies.
