At Lela Belles Studio of Dance, we take immense pride in curating meaningful
experiences that extend beyond the studio—exposing our dancers to prestigious
stages, industry professionals, and impactful community engagement. Our Belles
are not only trained to perform, but to be seen, to be felt, and to leave a lasting

Featured Performances within Charles County, including collaborations with
the College of Southern Maryland’s Visual & Performing Arts Department for
the Winter Magic Dance Performance
Participation in the renowned “WILD Dance Intensive” Convention, offering
elite training with nationally touring choreographers and educators
Performance at DC Tap Festival 2024, one of the largest tap festivals in the
world, hosted by Chloe Arnold and Maud Arnold
Performance at National Harbor Community Day  2024, & Juneteenth 2025
/2026 showcasing our dancers on a vibrant regional stage
Featured performances at The Shops at Waldorf’s Spooky Fall Festival (2024
& 2025), captivating audiences through seasonal celebration and artistry
Cultural enrichment trip to New York City (December 2025), where our
dancers attended a live performance by the world-renowned Alvin Ailey
American Dance Theater—an unforgettable experience that deepened their
appreciation for excellence in dance
Live audience experience at STOMP at The National Theatre, exposing
dancers to innovative rhythm, movement, and performance artistry
Community Service Initiative: “Doing Good in the Neighborhood”, where our
Belles prepared and donated Blessing Bags to the Charles County Animal
Shelter and local homeless shelters
Participation in the prestigious “Tremaine Dance Convention &
Competition”, receiving advanced training through master classes led by
industry professionals from Los Angeles and New York
Cultural enrichment experience attending the acclaimed Hip Hop
Nutcracker, a dynamic reimagining of the classic ballet blending hip-hop
with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s timeless score
Producer of a ‘Sold Out’ Holiday Skate & Ugly Sweater Winter Dance
Showcase, celebrating mid-season accomplishments in a high-energy,
community-centered production
Exceptional 2026 fundraising achievement through Double Good Popcorn,
generating over $44,000 in sales and ranking Top 3 nationwide within the
organization
Creation of an in-studio Dance History Museum, honoring legendary figures
such as Debbie Allen, Alvin Ailey, and Gregory Hines—inspiring dancers through
education and legacy
Recognized as “Business of the Week” by the Charles County Economic
Development Department (May 2025) for excellence in community impact
and youth development
